We loved our stay at Hemma Grove - right from the start the hosts were lovely. It's tucked away and peaceful but an easy drive in to Kilkenny. The rooms were so comfy and roomy, beautifully designed and the bathroom is stunning! The hosts have 2 lovely dogs who were great fun and a highlight of the trip for sure. So much information and recommendations were provided we had no problem planning our activities. Also had a wonderful walk around the grounds.

It was a lovely and cozy stay, with the fire lighting warmly when we arrived. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the city centre.

Nice quiet enough location view of Jerpoint Abbey, and I'd recommend visiting the abbey. Close to Thomastown and Kilkenny town. The stove is good for heating the place in winter. It's a nice cosy kitchen and living area. Perfect size for a couple. The air fryer is great and I had never used one before. Hosts had prepared the place very well with everything ready to make tea with biscuits, plenty of fuel for the stove. The house was nice and clean.

Property well located for short drive to city, Mount Juilett, or villages. Very comfortable, accommadation, cosy, clean - in particular fresh, crisp bed linen. We had a great night's sleep Hostess available if needed, local shop closed after 2pm, so she gave us milk).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rural house near to Kilkenny! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome.
