Phenomenal stay at Abba and Hlynur B&B. We only stayed for one night because of the long travel we had planned, but anyway it was awsome. Room was big, it had it's own bathroom and it was very clean. The couple is very kind, Abba even showed us the sheep, cows and horses they have. Also breakfast is fantastic. If you are planning to stay here, don't forget to say hi to Bruno and Blami, two amazing dogs they have :)

The hot tub was a Highlight for us, feels so good relaxing in the hot water when it's snowing outside.

We loved our stay at Svartaborg. The design of the house is stunning and a wonderfully peaceful environment with a lot of privacy. The view from the window was truly spectacular. The location is ideal if you want to visit Lake Myvatn, Godafoss, Akureyri or Husavik. Our daughter had a broken finger before we arrived at Svartaborg, so we decided to stay in the apartment the next day. That turned out to be the best decision. The apartment was fully equipped for cooking and entertainment, allowing us to rest comfortably. The owner provided clear instructions for finding the house, and it was easy to locate, even when arriving after dark. He also helped us with any questions we had. We hope to visit Iceland again and will definitely return!

The place was super nice and comfortable. It is like a small apartment just for yourself but not too small that you feel overwhelmed, it is indeed quite big. The owners left some eggs from their farm for us to have in the morning and there was everything you could need in the kitchen (even coffee, oil, sugar and tea) and bathroom.

It's a local horse farm where you can get close to horses and cats! Region offers dark skies (Bortle 2, 1). We stayed in a quite day when there was no other guests. Probably, it made us feel extra nice about the place.

It was easily accessible, the facilities were exceptionally clean and warm. The room was spacious, tidy and comfortable. The host went above and beyond for us when our car broke down a few miles away, they didn’t hesitate to come out and help us.

I love the guesthouse concept of Iceland. This is like a full nice house for you. Nice kitchen and living rooms, as well as enough showers and toilets. It was super warm and we decorated. It gave us a bit of the feeling of leaving there. It's just on the road so it's super easy to arrive. We liked it a lot. The breakfast included was extra good with local products, even homemade food from the farm!
