Very clean place, very clean bed (cleanest bed we had so far in Sri Lanka), beautiful view and balcony in front of every room. Bathroom with very hot water and window. Super nice host. Breakfast very tasty and variable. Located a bit on the hill, walk about 5-10 minutes to the centre, restaurants nearby, but also nature. Perfect location. Very friendly and helpful. We had a rainy stay and could borrow some umbrellas and got laundry cleaning and drying for very fair price. Great view and very close to train tracks for easy walk or hike. Room very clean and very well equipped (fridge, safe, hair dryer, water cooker, ...)

It was my second time to Nethsara cottage. It is a lovely place. Its looked much better in real that on the booking pictures and you will get much more that you pay for it. The food its delicious and always so big portion ;) you can not finish the whole portion. The lady who its running this place its super nice. First time I reached the location by a small car and second time by tuk tuk :) if you are looking for a quiet place with nice view close to the main Ellas street thats the right place. Very recommended.

The most incredible view over the valley from the balcony, where you can sit to watch the sunrise. The family is so welcoming and cooks delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts, as well as dinners on request (for only 1000RS / person). For breakfast, you can choose a selection of coconut pancakes, coconut roti with dhal, omelettes, hoppers, fresh fruit and toast with jam. They offer tea and coffee throughout the day, laundry for a very cheap price and even arranged our tuktuk into town. I felt so well cared for from start to finish, thank you!

room is very cosy, comfortable and clean. you have everything you need. the owners are very helpful and very charming. they helped us arrange tuk tuks, transport to weligama and many other things. they are 24/7 available to help. breakfast was also very good and very generous portions. we could not finish it most of the times. i would recommend this place 100%.

Our room was clean and cosy! They serve lovely breakfast - best egg hoppers in town. Owners are very nice they overheard it's my birthday, and they made an effort to surprise me with a cake. We felt home away from home.
