Our stay at Bundala Ruhunumaya Green Villa was truly enjoyable. The surroundings were calm and green, making it a perfect place to relax. The villa was well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. The hosts were warm, caring, and always ready to help. The meals were a highlight-fresh, flavorful, and authentically Sri Lankan, with something new to enjoy each morning. Overall, it was excellent value for money and a place we would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area.💚✨

Staying at the House of Freedom was a little adventure. the room is small but nice, Isubu is a great host (if you stay here, ask him what there is to do, he knows so much about the area and "has a guy" for almost anything) If you want a luxury stay and accomodation, you are at the wrong place. If you are fine with open air shower, basic toilet and no AC, this is a place for you. There are all kinds of animals around the house, apparently Elefants visit too. Isubu gave us a Bird-watching-walking tour in the morning before our departure which is truely the cherry on top of it all.

The place was clean, just in front of the city center, weekend market was just opposite , we were able check in late and did not have any issues, can enjoy the early morning sunrise with beach view.

Everything is fairly new. Large sitting area for chatting with friends. We went to Yala Safari with Udara, we liked that our crew did not rush, but captured the moments. Udara is attentive and sincere. Shares his knowledge about birds.

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel for a safari tour. The owner was very helpful. Gave me information what to see in Tissa. He was extremely kind and honest. Not only did he prepare breakfast at 4 a.m., before jeep picked me up, he also let me store my big bag during safari in my hotel room for entire day! He also informed me that I paid much higher price for half day safari on TripAdvisor, so when I complained, they gave me not half day, but full day for free. Furthermore, he arranged a cheap transport for me after safari to Hiriketiya. The room was clean with AC. I am very happy and can't recommend this a accommodation and owner more.

A very good small house on the beach. It's well equipped and has a good and quiet location with several good restaurants nearby. The staff was nice and helpful.

Very beautiful wood house in nature. Great view from window to sunrise/sunset with lot of birds. Room is very clean and staff very kind. Its near to beach.

Basically there is 20-25meter pool and 2,5km wide beach that is almost always almost empty :) In top of that you get beautiful palm garden. This is awesome place to get some rest and chill.

The treehouse is a gem. Having built treehouses for my children and when I was a kid, this is my absolute dream come true. It is beyond anything I had imagined. Perched over the river it is solidly constructed with artistry and imagination. Saman, the host, has put so much love into the garden and treehouses, creating a tranquil and magical energy. He’s also an incredibly kind and welcoming host. You must come - it is truly special if you live nature.
