The atmosphere was amazing. The place is very authentic with beautiful views. The food is delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. The staff is genuinly helpful and friendly, and made our stay in Hatton even better. They arranged a trip to Aberdeen waterfall for us, and staffmember Dilan drove us there and was so helpful and sweet.

-there are 3 houses in colonial english style overlooking Mount Pedro, sunrise and Nuwara Eliya. - very nice interior design with all facilities - very clean; confortable bed - they even put beautiful natural flowers in a vase, and lots of printed info about the area, Budhism, tea plantation. - staff helpful and friendly, they even offered us a gift when we checked out. - breakfast was also good - such a nice garden with flowers and birds - because at night it may be cooler they offer heating device, which was actually great.

The property itself was amazing. The building is over 130 years old but excellently maintained. As a boutique hotel it only accommodates up to 11 guests at a time, making it a very homely experience, which we loved. The staff were absolutely excellent, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. No request was too much, or too little. And we absolutely loved engaging with them. Situated near Nuwara Eliya it boasts some amazing views which we thoroughly enjoyed as we sat down for some tea (and it was some of the best tea we’ve had) or breakfast. As a small boutique hotel, food choices can be somewhat limited but their a’ la carte menu items, in our view, would meet most tastes. The food we ate was excellent quality with pastry items (bread, croissants, cakes etc.) made on the premises. These also were excellent.

first time we felt like (real) home while traveling in sri lanka for 3 weeks 🥹! the villa is so cozy and beautifully decorated. we had everything needed and beyond! it was spotlessly clean (everywhere!), the bed was amazing. so many amenities…! located at the top of a hill in an incredible area… now we understand the previous reviews! the owner as well as their family were super nice and the host/manager Surenga who takes care of the villa. he is a tuktuk driver and helped us drop to the city multiple times and also organized a tour to a tea factory and the waterfalls. recommend doing this with him! overall amazing value for money. we didn’t want to leave.

Amazing Resort in the middle of the jungle! Perfect to stay if you want to visit Aberdeen and Laxapana Waterfalls. You get exactly what you expect from the photos. Extremely friendly service and the most amazing food. We stayed there for 2 nights and felt so welcome. They helped us with everything! Highly recommended!!!

Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.

An original Tea Planter's Bungalow with original features still in place. The diligent & caring manager Rimus is working on ways to enhance & update these features . An Idyllic location surrounded by well kept gardens amidst the tea plantation . Delicious food all cooked with fresh ingredients by chef Gunuratnam & ably assisted by Saga . A great team who we were sad to say goodbye to after 5 glorious days. Highly recommended for a truly iconic experience.
