It was my second time on Sri Lanka. 6 years ago I was solo traveller. This time I travelled with my family of 3 and initially our intetntion was to spend 2 nights in this place and move further to enjoy the secrets of an island. Hovewere, after those 2 nights we decided to extend our stay, and then to extend it again - to the very end of our visit on Sri lanka - this is how we liked the place. Place itself provides the feeling of isolation from the crowds - you can see and hear the jungle from the terrace. Each morning I conducted the routine with my 1.5 year old son to go birdseeing which he enjoyed a lot. Swimming pool was also nice. At the same time the the host was great and place overall was very clean. The possibility to have a great breakfast/lunch/dinner at place is a gamechanger here. All the positives combined influenced our decision to stay longer than we anticipated.

One of the highlights of this villa is its proximity to the beach. The beach is literally just a stone's throw away – a short walk down a lush, tropical path. The beach is pristine and peaceful, with clear waters and soft, golden sand. It felt like having a private slice of paradise, and I spent hours enjoying the sun, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, and simply relaxing by the shore. The fact that the beach is so close made it incredibly easy to pop out and enjoy the beauty of the coast whenever I wanted. However, what truly made my stay special was the hospitality.
