The villa is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility. After a 10-day tour around Sri Lanka, we came here to unwind and recharge. I spent a long time searching for a place that would meet all our expectations, and I’m so happy that I found this villa. The villa is well-designed, spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. Throughout our stay, the caretaker, Suba, took great care of us, and Dushante prepared delicious meals. We also used the laundry service once, which was very convenient. Thanks to these two gentlemen, we truly had an amazing experience. Each day, we planned what we wanted to eat, and our wonderful hosts took care of all the shopping and meal preparation. Dushante even took us to Rekawa Beach, where we had the unforgettable experience of watching turtles at night. The villa is located directly on a stunning, long, and clean beach. The ocean here is wild, and the waves are not suitable for small children. The surroundings are quiet, with only local fishermen nearby. One thing worth mentioning is that many of the villa's fantastic perks were not listed on Booking.com, which is a shame. I highly recommend adding all the small details to the description, as it would create an even better impression (e.g., on-demand meal preparation, laundry service, transportation to the nearest town, assistance with organizing trips, a first-aid kit, etc.). We had an incredible time here, and even though we rarely return to the same place twice, we definitely have to come back to this one!

We enjoyed our stay at Kingfish villa in the month of March 2025. It was a very pleasant time. An optimal location to relax and experience the beautiful beach of Ranna at a distance of ca. 300 m. The owner Raveen is also an amazing person. He is very helpful and knows around Ranna, southern locations of SL and even other locations at wish. Also, there is the possibility to have him as a tour guide. He owns a restaurant as well where the food is exquisite. One can choose a variety of local foods and drinks too. Overall, remarkably good experience.

We feel very lucky that we had a chance to stay here. Could not recommend it more. We've got everything we needed. There was hot water with powerful steam, A/C, adapters for electricity. You can also order breakfast, lunch and dinner for really fair prices. The property is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area with peacocks and nature all around you. We've got privacy and the owners were very helpful, kind and sweet. We also rented a scooter from them. When we arrived we were offered a welcome drink which was very pleasant. When we were leaving they also arranged a tuk-tuk for us to go to the bus station. If you have a chance to stay here - do it. It was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. We feel thankful and we would be happy to come back one day.

After visiting Colombo, Kandy, and Galle, we headed down to the ocean in the south, and the place where we stayed the longest was this one. We stayed eight nights and were sad to leave because the accommodation was absolutely phenomenal! 🤩 It was set in nature, exotic yet safe, and equipped with all necessary amenities, including air conditioning and always warm water. We even had our own place in front of the cottage where we relaxed every day, drinking tea and enjoying delicious pancakes. As for the hosts, they were the kindest people we could have encountered! 💙 Since there was a family restaurant, this wonderful woman prepared a new specialty for us every day, and each one seemed even better than the last. We never received such large and high-quality portions during our stay in Sri Lanka. All in all, for those who want to experience the charms of nature and the true spirit of Sri Lanka, to relax their body and soul, and recharge with positive energy, I highly recommend this accommodation. I hope we can return next year! 🏝️🌍

My entire trip around sri lanka and this was certianly an experiance. Cabana Resort is situated in a tropical surrounding of cocnut palmes and fawna. absoulute tranquil beutiful surroundings from ponds to lagoons. wild life in the area were water monitors, peacoks and stalk birds. the owner took me to see the turtles come ashore, which we sore two. amongst them we seen a baby turtle, lost. the black faced monkeys in fhe reserve were also a plus. you can walk but best to go on a motorbike.

We stayed one night at this villa, just 100 meters from the beach, and it was perfect! The villa was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The big swimming pool was a great bonus — very clean and relaxing. The location is quiet but close enough to enjoy the beach anytime. Highly recommended

I had the pleasure of spending a night at one of Ella’s best-known hostels, Tomorrowland, where I met the owner. During our conversation, he suggested that if I was planning to visit the southern beaches, I should consider staying at their brand-new beach property—Tomorrowland Beach Villas in Rekawa, Tangalle. Although I had already booked accommodations in Mirissa, I decided to take a chance and spend a night at Tomorrowland Beach Villas before heading to my final destination—Kandy. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts, Irushi and Hiruni, making it one of the most heartfelt greetings I’ve received at a property in Sri Lanka. I was given the Winter Villa, a stunning all-wood cabin perched right at the water’s edge, where the waves crashed just below. For dinner, I indulged in one of Tomorrowland’s specialties—the Pompano Fish, part of an impressive selection of freshly caught seafood. Dining at sunset, right where the waves met the shore, was nothing short of sublime. Adding to the charm, a breakwater runs perpendicular to Tomorrowland’s private beach. The right side forms a serene, blue-water pool, where I enjoyed a leisurely soak until sundown. Although Tomorrowland had arranged an early morning bird-watching lagoon cruise, I ended up sleeping in until 9:00 AM—unfortunately missing the adventure, as I had to rush to catch my transportation to Kandy. Tomorrowland Beach Villas is a paradise for couples who cherish privacy, romance, and a touch of indulgence. I will definitely be returning with my partner next time—and with a few well-earned credits from Tomorrowland Properties, it’s sure to be even more memorable. Five stars all the way!

We had a wonderful stay at BB villa. Nice welcome with flowers and welcome drinks. The location is excellent, near a beautiful, not busy beach. The beach was a 5-minute walk away. The room was big, super neat and new. Good beds and air conditioning. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and other tasty traditional dishes. Very friendly host. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back!
