The hotel is right in the middle of the nature and very quiet. It was a delight getting up every morning with the sound of monkeys, birds and cows. The staff is lovely, very welcoming and always available to answer to all our requests and answers (including transportation, safari and other experiences). The food is great, especially the local one. We really loved staying at The Cottage Sigiriya, it was a great starting point for our trip in Sri Lanka.

Lotus Eco Villa is a gorgeous place to stay in the Sigiriya area. We stayed for two nights in the bungalow and absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and feel very well incorporated into the surrounding nature. Pool is lovely. The owner is very friendly and booked our Minneriya Safari for us. He woke up at 5am to make us some coffee before heading on safari and had breakfast waiting for us when we returned and is full of good conversations. Would 10/10 stay here again next time in Sigiriya.

Room has everything you want: good bed and pillows, warm and cold shower, AC and good fridge Walking distance from a big range of restaurants, shops,, Lion Rock , bars with Lion Rock and crocodile views. Exceptional!! We stayed in the tree house which even had branches through the cabin - very cool. The view was spectacular of lion rock and the rice fields. Hot shower too. Crystal clear pool and charming grounds. At night you here all the frogs and crickets even from without the room. Service was great, they even delivered umbrellas to our room before we checked out so we wouldn’t get wet.

The cottage was cozy and clean and the surroundings were beautiful. Ruwan (the owner) was very kind and helpful when needed. the breakfast was lovely ! and pool extremely well Maintained . If you looking for a comfortable and unique experience in the countryside close to sigiriya lion Rock, this is the place I would recommend!
