We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house as a couple, and from the very first moment, we were enveloped by warmth and charm. Located in the very heart of Chișinău, yet tucked away in a peaceful courtyard, this home offered the perfect balance between serenity and centrality. Just a 7-minute walk brought us to the main cultural landmarks of the city, including the iconic Ștefan cel Mare Central Park. The house itself is a treasure — tastefully decorated with stunning national elements that reflect the rich Moldovan heritage. Every corner seemed to tell a story. We especially loved the quiet courtyard, where we enjoyed our morning coffee while listening to the gentle songs of birds. It was pure tranquility. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, welcoming us with traditional bread and salt, cool spring water, and fresh Moldovan apples — a gesture we will never forget. Inside, the house was fully equipped with everything we could need: salt, sugar, oil, kitchen utensils, and more. It felt like home, but with a magical, folkloric touch. The cool, peaceful atmosphere inside the house was a perfect retreat from the summer heat. The traditional Moldovan style made us feel as if we were living in a fairytale — and helped us better understand the soul of Moldova. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants not just to visit Chișinău, but to feel Moldova — its warmth, its beauty, and its deep traditions.

The property was a lovely little barn (as you can guess from the name) only a 30-minute walk or short taxi ride away from the centre of Chișinău. There is a shower and a sauna, both which are part of a lovely bathroom. There’s a double bed at the top, and a sofa bed at the bottom. Sofa bed was comfortable too. Our hosts were very nice and communicated efficiently considering their first language was Romanian. You can buy your own food for the barn but when you’re there, we recommend Keller Holz in town for food too. WiFi was excellent 👌.

Our impressions of our stay exceeded all expectations! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and responsive people who made our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was impeccably clean and tidy, and its design is something special! The combination of modern style and rustic loft creates a unique and very cozy atmosphere. We especially want to highlight the grounds. It's a true paradise for lovers of beautiful photos! Numerous flowers, a well-kept lawn, elegant fountains, and thoughtful landscape design provided us with unforgettable shots and immense aesthetic pleasure. And the food here is wonderful – truly delicious! Every dish was prepared with love and attention to detail. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, beautiful experiences, and delightful food!

Due to my flight arriving very early in the morning I was worried in case there would be no one around to let me in, but the owner was there as soon as my taxi arrived. It was nice to be able to stay in a traditional house. The owner lives next door, speaks English, and always replied promptly to messages. The dog did not disturb me. She was in a fenced off part of the yard and mostly barked if she saw a stray cat. On the whole I found the accommodation very quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to go back to and rest after a busy day sightseeing around the city! The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed and so did the bathroom. I used the washing machine a few times. I did most of my shopping for food at the local Linella supermarket, which opens early and closes late.
