Cottages in Hurdal

On the heights of Lake Mjösa, we visited this magnificent little cabin with a breathtaking view. It was not only a magical place to stay but also very practical, as it was only 40 minutes from our plane at Oslo airport the next day. I highly recommend this place. -Nikola's friendly welcome -The modern wooden cabin with its large windows and its spirit of integration into nature. -The two outdoor areas: the lounge on the open terrace and the lounge under the covered pergola with barbecue and firepit. -The proximity to nature and the magnificent views -A visit from the sheep grazing freely in the neighbourhoods during the evening and the birds singing. -The cabin is modern, clean and bright, with large windows and a magnificent modern lighting system. The cabin has a Scandinavian ‘hygge’ feeling to it, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. You want to contemplate the surrounding nature and the landscape as it changes with the weather. -The beds are very comfortable, cosy and carefully positioned slightly higher up so that you can still watch the view even when you're lying down. -The fully equipped kitchen, DAB radio and televisions with cosy screensaver in the bedrooms. We didn't have time to try out the firepit outside, but Nikola recommends it. Must be great to chill out and relax in the sofas under the pergola with a drink next to the firepit !

Very good quality of the facilities. Really nice location, we wish we could have stayed there for a longer time. The owners are very friendly. Lots of small extra things that made us feel welcome.

Beautiful interior design that had everything we need! The layout was cozy and perfect for our group of 3 couples. The location is of course perfectly picturesque and the amenities were excellent. Extra details such as the Christmas tree and fireplace made it even cozier.

A cute fully equipped house with lots of space and an amazing view of the lake! This place is perfect for a few relaxing days in a quiet and beautiful area surrounded by nature. The host was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the view, the warm shower, the quiet, the woodpeckers, the big garden, the fireplace, the window seats, the clean air... :)

The house is in a great location, about 35-40 minutes from the airport. It's in a small quiet community of cabins overlooking the lake and mountains with fantastic views. The property is very well appointed and very comfortable. We were there in November with temperatures up to -7 and it was very cosy and warm, with everything you need. The log burner is fabulous. The nearest shop is about 10-15 minutes in the car in Minnesund and has a very good selection. The host was also very responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend this property.
