Excellent place to stay. The room is spacious, has all amenities as indicated, clean and well kept, good kitchen, great breakfast, clean linen, good parking, lots of flowers and nature all around, homely feel and a wonderful host.

Everything about this beautiful retreat was exceptional. From the communication to the cleanliness, facilities and comfort, the home is exceptional. We loved the vibe. It was so peaceful and had many beautiful touches. This was the best rental I have ever stayed in. Do not hesitate to book it. It is perfect for an overnight stay on the way to Mt. Cook National Park and surrounding area, or for a longer stay not too far from Christchurch.

A large historic property that has been well converted with all modern facilities. It stands in its own grounds approached via a long gravel driveway. The couple that own it were perfect hosts - there to help but not intrusive. They did offer to show us their farm an offer we were keen to accept and thoroughly enjoyed. They supplied a very large basket of breakfast/lunch type foods of exceptional quality. As we were only staying two days we were unable to use it all. It included fresh milk, muesli cereal, bread, home made cookies, butter, fresh orange juice, custom chocolate bar, crisps etc.

Stunning wee cottage and area, quiet. Very comfortable place as well as the bed. Soft music playing and the hot tub ready to go when we got there. Cold plunge in the stream the next morning. Amazing place and people.
