Roto Cottage exceeded our expectations. Hosts were so lovely and welcoming, location was brilliant with a short walk to Lake Tekapo village area and lake itself. The cottage was brand new and has been built with quality and comfort in mind. Very well equipped, comfortable and warm beds. Loved the awesome view of the lake and surrounding snow capped mountains from the warm comfort of the cottage! Also space outside for the kids to have a play on the grass. Highly recommend this as a perfect spot to stay when visiting Lake Tekapo and surrounding areas.

Daryl was very accommodating and his response to all my query was very fast! The guide that was provided during the stay was extremely helpful. The location and house is superb! Would totally recommend those with family to book this place. Heated floors during winter is amazing. Even if you were to book this place during summer, fans and aircon are provided. House is totally clean and basic necessities are provided, such as rice cooker (Win!). Beds are comfortable and location is a short 5 mins walk to the supermarket m, restaurant and play area for kids.

All of it was satisfied, nice view from the living room, cozy space and comfortable bed. If the kitchen tools can improve to get fully set and change it new one is better, seems it's looked a dated, cleaning stuff better check the cooking sauce or oil when customer check out, coz some of the sauce expired on 2012.. Other of these, all in good star.

A lovely cottage with everything provided. The fireplace and the outdoor bath was a real bonus and made this a standout amongst the many accommodation options available. Good communications and easy access and another bonus of a delicious loaf of what looked (and tasted like) like homemade bread. Good job!

The two bedroom cabin/lodge we stayed in was beautifully furnished, had a great layout and a good use of space plus we loved the interior styling. It had views over the lake, a cosy wood burner and was walking distance to town but felt more rural. The beds were very comfortable and everything we loved. The kitchen was well equipped. We really appreciated the tasty loaf of bread provided and the little Whittakers chocolates which was a lovely touch.

Super clean and cozy lodge with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. They have a shower, an indoor bathtub and even an outside private hot tub for stargazing at night. We tried the fire place which is quite straightforward and this gives a nice vibe of a cabin in the Forrest. They do have electric inverter so the fireplace is just a nice extra. Location wise , perfect! You can walk to the center of the town and only a Little over 1 km drive to the famous church of the good shepherd.

Cabin had everything needed for a relaxing stay - the fire & heat pump keep it super cozy & warm & the hot tub is the perfect place for checking out the amazing Tekapo sky at night.
