I recently had the pleasure of staying at Quinta de Casa Amarela in the Douro Valley, Portugal, and it was an absolute delight. The accommodation effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts, making for a truly memorable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was a delightful start to each day, and the pool area, overlooking the vineyard, provided a serene backdrop for relaxation. I would also recommend the wine tasting with Gil, the owner – his warm welcome and extensive knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience. We spent two weeks traveling around Europe, and this was by far the best stay of our entire trip. The villas are nestled within a working vineyard just outside of Régua, offering a truly unique and peaceful setting. Our host welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and some delicious snacks, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, exactly what we needed after days of travel. And the highlight? The stunning pool overlooking the vineyards. The entire property is modern, beautifully designed, and simply unforgettable.

We loved everything about our stay - the views and location in a family run vineyard were wonderful, the host family were very welcoming, and the accommodation was large and clean . We were especially grateful to the family of the vineward for organising a welcome wine tasting and recommending a brilliant restaurant.

The incredible view! House was spacious and very clean. Even the bedding was of great quality. Kitchen has a lot of utensils. And when we needed something, Sonia drove by to supply us immediately. We also made use of the BBQ grill. All in all, a wonderful stay!

We vacationed with a group of friends in this wonderful house (was warm inside, this is important!) The location is incredible, the view of the mountains, you can go for a walk in the forest. Even in the rain it is beautiful there. The house is authentic, it feels like it has a history. Very friendly owner of the house, cooked us a big delicious breakfast! I highly recommend this place
