This is one of those places you don't want to rate, because that would mean you are giving out a secret you don't want anyone to know, because you want to be there all the time 🙂 It's a gem of a place if you want privacy, birdsongs, nature and fully equipped, clean little house to yourself.

Set in Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, Quinta das Lavandas enjoys scenic views of the 1,4 acre lavender and lavandin grosso field that blooms during the first 15 days of July.

Teresa, the host, was exceptional ! She was very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. Loved her! The breakfast was very, very good. The pool was open and clean. The Quinta was beautiful and very inviting. Teresa also offered us a welcome drink. Wished we could have stayed longer.

There is aircon (even in the bathroom) so the apartment is warm. The kitchen is well-equipped and the house is beautifully designed with decorations that add to the atmosphere. The little details like the complimentary wine and chocolates added a nice touch. The neighbourhood is quiet and the locals are friendly. It's right next to the castle.
