Eventhough the walk between the lake and the house is quite long, it's still doable by foot. Besides that the location is very nice and the lake itself is beautiful. There are many options to travel, for example you can rent bikes at the lake as well as a car from the host. Additonally you can take the train to the cities nearby. The host is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back!
