With lake views, this accommodation features a balcony. The infinity pool features a pool bar and fence. Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Staff are excellent. The place is very clean. We saw lots of birds, howler monkeys and a night monkey. San Ignacio is 10 minutes taxi ride and worth going for a wonder and some nice food. We found two fantastic restaurants The Burnz and Crave House of Flavour. Also took a trip to Xunantunich Mayan site which is excellent and worth a visit. You don’t need to go on a trip just book a taxi in town, much more affordable. Larry the host provided very good service. We lost some glasses on the transfer he arranged from Mexico and Larry contacted the taxi company and had the glasses posted to our hotel in Mexico which is an excellent service.

It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.
