The manager was super attentive since the moment we made the booking. He offered transport service to/from Beijing, although we had our own already booked. The team greeted us with a great dinner included in our price, and the breakfast was also excellent. They sorted out the tickets for us, which was super helpful. They also took us to the great wall cable car entrance, and picked us up once we had finished. Super friendly people and I definitely recommend staying! By the way, the boy on the picture with Boris Johnson is the manager nowadays, although the pic was taken in 2008. This shows just how many years of experience they’ve had greeting international clients at this amazing resort! :)

The hosts were very nice and helpful, trying their best to speak English, which is very appreciable in China. They proposed taxi for the Great Wall or the airport, they prepared dinner on-demand, which was quite good (dumplings, roasted eggplants, skewers...). The beds are very comfy and the shower water is hot. Very good value for the price.

Incredibly helpful staff, very clean, lovely food and good value for money. They were more than happy to give us tips and help arrange an airport transfer. The owner also cooks very well:)

We traveled as a family and our child loved this place. Also the parents of course. So David , the owner, was our guide to the Great Wall - it was amazing and informative. His father cooked for us.
