One thing that's challenging to find in Colombia is a quiet place to stay and at Azulejo, it was super quiet. It might be a little bit inconvenient that it isn't located a little closer to town, but I'll take the longer walk (approx 20 mins to the plaza principal) in exchange for the peace and quiet any day. The people who ran things were super nice. The breakfast was great and served at the exact time requested and for all these reasons and more, I ended up staying several extra days there . Lots of hot water for the shower and it was a bonus that they had a full kitchen plus washer/dryer to use for guests. The view from the chalet is incredible, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works properly, the living room is spacy and has all the mood lighting and amenities, and the reception was always responsive to our needs.
