What a gem of a place! Location is excellent, just a block from the beach and walking distance to markets and fantastic beach front restaurant. House is immaculately clean. Kitchen is very well equipped. Beds are comfortable and bedrooms have AC for a restful sleep. Was great to have indoor parking. The garden is amazing and the pool outstanding. The host is best of the best: I made the reservation early on the same day and she let us in earlier as soon as cleaning was done. Communication and instructions were timely and clear. I’m very thankful with the host

The property is stunning overlooking Uvita. I stopped in a condo and each one had a stunning view. There was so much wildlife surrounding the villas (Coatis, Capuchin Monkeys, many Toucans, Vultures and Macaws). Property was clean comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were on it too, and offered a service to deliver groceries/drinks if you didn't fancy the trip down the hill.

We arrived just after they had finished serving dinner and they opened the kitchen back up to make us some dinner. The grounds were stunning and we saw so many birds and lizards when we were there - a birders paradise!

It is a beautiful house, that is cozy and quaint yet has all the amenities including a great pool & air conditioning. If you like walking it is situated close to & in walking distance of all of the beach entrances. If you prefer you can also rent a car and drive to the beach. There is a cafe , small bakery & a weekly market & small restaurants nearby. It's a great way to get the feel of a real Costa Rican neighborhood with views of the jungle & mountains that surround it.. Ocean Melody is a very wonderful Villa where you will feel at home. The house & pool are kept extremely clean. It's a perfect option for those looking for privacy and owners keep it affordable for visitors.

The location is close to restaurants, cafes, and the beach (Whales Tail). The cottage is clean, new and well kept. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed to have everything you would need. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is air conditioned. There is a small pool with outdoor seating and a hammock.

The view from the deck was stunning. Damaris Y Ariana met us upon arrival and was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The yard was beautiful with flowers and fruit trees. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for 2 couples. Damaris Ariana arranged a Night Tour and dinner at the farm next door (even walked us there in the pouring rain). David our night tour guide was well prepared, spoke perfect English and had a real passion for the eco-systems and small creatures of Costa Rica. The farm-to-table traditional dinner was delicious (the portions were very large). The chalet was clean and had most of the cooking amenities we needed. We would definitely return to this charming chalet.

If you are looking for quiet peaceful gateway yet closer to town, this is the place. Emanuel helped us book all our tours while we were there. Xinia welcomed us and even if we had language barrier, she showed all important places along with restaurants we could go to. This is not a luxury place and your typical hotel room but very cozy house with breathtaking views. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Pura vida!!!
