We had a superb experience with George & Silvana. They went out of their way to make us feel not just welcome but truly prized guests. After an exhausting trip to get to Puerto Plata (from the West Coast of the US), our troubles & worries melted away because of our hosts' warm accommodation of our needs. The Villa is extremely well located (1.5 blocks from Ocean World Terminal), very convenient for walking access to board our boat. Equally easy walk to the beach, a lovely place beyond a grass green (with shade) enjoyed by the locals. Beach was not crowded, with reclining chairs & beach shacks that sell souvenirs & beach items. The beach was lined with resorts, but locals enjoyed it just as well as the visitors. Beach chairs were available for us to use for free. Peaceful and relaxing. This apartment is part of a small building complex, newly remodeled modern facility with plenty of room. The top level (3rd floor) is a common area with picnic accouterments, shade and a fabulous view of the town (Cofresi), beach & ocean. Generously spacious living room, well appointed kitchen & quiet bedroom. Kitchen thoughtfully stocked with utensils, working sharp knives, salt & pepper, coffee pot (and fresh coffee grounds), etc., with all necessary appliances (no dish washer). Everything was super clean and functioned well: hot water (no potable water out of the faucet in DR but our hosts provided good drinking water), refrigerator, lights, and fans. Did not use the AC in the bedroom - breezy 80F (in early March) was comfortable. We made quick dinner & breakfast for ourselves. Everything worked, and we lacked for nothing We were at the street level facing the gated front door. Some noise in the evening if windows were open. But we heard nothing in the bedroom toward the back of the unit. Quiet and safe behind a locked gate.

Very warm and helpful staff. The peace and security were outstanding. This is my go-to road trip for the future and often. The ability to focus on the ocean view of several countries..lol awesome. If you want to receive a warm and family environmen with additional focus visiting points close you get a valued package. Ability to order and receive food or prepare yourself . Can't wait to return when wanting to contact nature. Even the two pets very friendly and greet you well. Gated security with the ability to come and go as pleased!

The host is amazing, very attentive to the guest needs. The house had many amenities such as a pool, hot tub, TV, Netflix, bar, etc, etc. Very homey and a great place.

Omg most amazing vacation my family had everything was 100%amazing the owner Esmeralda omg can’t finish saying how wonderful she is, she took care off all our needs even our reservation for dinner our transportation to and from the airport she’s very flexible with our checking in and out of the property. The staff members was the best. They made our vacation the very best we ever had. The staff was always ready to help especially this young man Anderson who was there making sure we had everything we needed. I am so happy with the service we got at peninsula Esmeralda my family and I returning in the summer. Omg let’s talk about the chef’s no one cook up a Dominican breakfast like chef Felix and his assistant they was amazing they came in early did all the preparation for my brother birthday breakfast they did everything on time with a full course breakfast
