Good location, quick walk to town and to the Temple.

He also checked with us to make sure we are fine. We felt very welcomed. The host helped us find a sunset Felucca. The captain chose to sail behind a big sand dune. So the sunset was totally blocked by the sand dune. The wind was not strong there so it took much longer to finish. We have to pay 50% more than original price because “the trip is longer than originally quoted”. It was frustrating that we didn’t see the sunset, be late for our dinner and bitten by bugs while the boat is not moving. I recommend a different felucca captain.

Dry friendly people. Always a smile of the face. We checked-in at 01:00 am. Fahd helped us take all our luggage to apartment. He also served us the hot breakfast. Breakfast: highly recommended. Prepared by Fahd’s mother. Home made Amazing oriental breakfast in earthen pots. House: 4 big rooms with lots of beds. All beautifully designed. 2 bathrooms helped us get ready quickly in the morning.

I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.
