The property features river and garden views, and is 34 km from Abando Train Station. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This may have been the cleanest place I’ve ever been. Host was great. It is out of town and I am walking the Camino - but there is everything you need to make a simple dinner. And you can avoid the business of the city. Highly recommend!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The country house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. This is a stunning property in a very beautiful area. Our room was a two bedroom, two bathroom unit that was very comfortable. My five-year-old enjoyed the swing set and level lawn to play ball. I would definitely stay here again and hope to return for a longer period.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and large. It had a comfortable bed and a large shower room. WIFI worked very well. There was parking in the premises. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, delicious eggs, cheeses, bread and more… The nearest town, Urnieta, is located at 5 minutes by car where there are restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, etc. We definitely will return whenever we visit the area.

Stayed at El Tejado de Santa Ana for a weekend getaway with friends. The property greatly exceeded our expectations. Cristina was incredibly welcoming and lovely and continuously made our stay comfortable. Made you feel at home. Weather was very nice so had breakfast in the garden both days. Even if the property was full, we did not hear a thing from other guests. We would have stayed there for longer if we could have, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Bilbao and its surrounding area.

The location is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and everything is very clean. The view of the forest is simply stunning, and in the morning the birdsong is absolutely beautiful. We liked it so much that we actually came back — we were on a road trip and it was very convenient that the hotel has its own parking. It’s also close to Bilbao, with an easy and comfortable drive. At first, we planned to stay just one night, but we liked it so much we returned and stayed another night. The breakfast was excellent, the pool was great — everything was just perfect. The bed was very comfortable, including the pillows, and the room had everything we needed. It was also a lovely surprise to receive a complimentary bottle of wine. A perfect stay!
