Casa Rural Higueralde features rustic-décor with tiled floors and beamed ceilings. It has a shared living-dining room, kitchen and terraces that overlook the harbour. We have been traveling for six weeks and this was one of the best places in which we have stayed. We enjoyed the view, the countryside and best of all the breakfast. The property had an apple orchard from which they made their own cider. We even enjoyed the steep walk up and down the hill to the town centre. The room was big with a delightful balcony. Secure parking for our bicycles.

Very friendly owner and pleasant rural setting with views. A few bar/cafes just up the small hill in town.

Excellent breakfast! Even when we arrived in the evening, exhausted after a long day on the Camino, the hostess helped us place an order from a Chinese restaurant, and there’s also the option to buy basic groceries for cooking if you have the energy. Just keep in mind that it’s about 2 km off the trail’s starting point, so plan your route accordingly. Highly recommended!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The country house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I really liked the house and the sorrunding. It is really peaceful and charming. The owners are genuine and kind and they gave us many tips and explanations about the Basque country. We really enjoyed the stay.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and large. It had a comfortable bed and a large shower room. WIFI worked very well. There was parking in the premises. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful with fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, delicious eggs, cheeses, bread and more… The nearest town, Urnieta, is located at 5 minutes by car where there are restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, etc. We definitely will return whenever we visit the area.

It is situated 21 km from Arriaga Theatre and provides a shared kitchen. The country house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The owners were welcoming and helpful. This place has a kitchen where we were able to cook and eat our own meals in a comfortable seating area. The whole place appeared to be new with good facilities, bed was good to sleep in, shower was high powered and towels and shampoo were provided. The whole experience was even better that we hoped for when booking.
