Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. What a gorgeous apartment! Spacious, modern, comfortable, with a terrace/garden out the back. Quiet as it is quite a way off the main road down a driveway. Super value for money. Will definitely stay again. P.S. We left a jacket there and the owner very kindly sent it to us.

Helt unikt sted :) Enestående beliggenhed og færgeturen i sig selv var en oplevelse. Skønne værelser og lækker mad. Venligt personale. Desuden dejlige vandreture rundt på øen Eneste minus var at vi ikke tog flere nætter foran opleve den skønne ø.

We felt right at home, right near the 31 which takes you onto princes street. A shop within a minutes walk. The house is spotless, roomy and has everything you need. Mandy is just a call away and makes herself available if you need. Such a perfect place for a larger group. A lovely surprise awaited us of a complimentary breakfast basket to top it all off.

I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Host was welcoming and kind. The Hut is decorated and appointed so beautifully; very comfortable and cozy stay. Inside we found delicious treats awaiting us (thank you!); and as a bonus - we were even visited by a red deer! Such a cute place!
