I Super friendly place to stay and they serve wonderful food. Maia is a very nice host. Definitely recommending this place to stay at a family farm.

All units in the country house are equipped with a kettle. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and bathrobes, units at the country house also feature free WiFi. At the country house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels. We were welcomed very warmly. Loved the location, close to town and an easy and interesting walk from Lake Ilia. The swimming pool and changing rooms looked wonderful, although we didn’t have time to use them. Work is still underway and it will be very splendid soon. There didn’t seem to be any cafes in town, and so we were very pleased to be able to order meals at the hotel, and to be served by the pool. A truly memorable experience. This is a good place to relax away from the tourist trail.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options. At the country house, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in local cuisine. What a true find this special winery was for us. We left the more touristy (but lovely) town of Sighnaghi and stayed at Kardanakhi Estate for the night. We were lucky enough to participate in one of the most informative wine tastings we ever had. If I had to do it over, I'd stay longer to take advantage of some of the Master Classes offered, but also to do some sightseeing of different areas from here. The rooms were comfortable and the views from the terraces- spectacular. It was an informal, welcoming venue, filled with history and creatively restored. The food was delicious, actually some of the best (try the chicken livers cooked w/cherries!). We only had time for dinner and breakfast, but there were many menu items I wanted to try. The owner was super attentive and extremely interesting to listen to -filled with knowledge about wine making, and many others subjects, but all tying into and relevant to the vibe of this unique place. Buy wine here! And don't miss to taste the Distilled Grape Skin "Chacha" - we just had to take a few bottles of that with us too.
