It's a beautiful romantic place in Rio Dulce. It's not reachable by road, instead you need to get a shuttle (una lancha) from and back to the town of Rio Dulce. Generously the first pick-up and the ride back to town on the date of check-out are free, on other days it'd cost 25Q. The food in the restaurant is high quality, delicious and freshly prepared, and the cocktails are amazing!! The music in the common area was always super nice!

El Hotelito Perdido is a hidden gem. We loved this place (and the food!) very much and it is a perfect spot at Rio Dulce to relax, enjoy nature or go kayaking. The whole team is super friendly and helpful. The cabins are beautiful - only the fan was hardly enough but that was due to the extremely hot weather:). We will definitely come back!

- Food was delicious! - Staff very helpful! They recommended El Boquerón to us which we hadn’t heard about and absolutely loved it. I left a pair of swimwear behind after checking out and they kindly sent it to Rio Dulce Travel office for me to collect. - Location. There’s lots of great hotels/hostels/eco lodges along Rio Dulce, but Tortugal was perfect because there’s access to the main road where you can then go to the hot waterfall or Boquerón and also into Rio Dulce easily.

Lovely staff and hostel, very cosy. More similiar to staying in a B&B (without the second b).

Nice location, good cabins with hot shower. Set menu dinner was delicious and plenty. Prices are reasonable for food & drinks. Can swim around the river, and use free tubes. Helpful staff and good communication. Organized our boat trip to Livingston with no problem.

The staff is super nice and the location is very quiet and cozy.

Hotel Kangaroo feels really high-end while being insanely good value for money. The rooms are really comfortable - great size and excellent bed. The food at the restaurant is great - incredible selection of Mexican dishes and other specialties. The setting itself is paradise - a jungle river cabin with a rope swing into warm waters. 10/10 would love to stay again.

A great location in Rio Dulce as it’s close to the town but away from traffic noise . The manager was extremely helpful and efficient at arrangements to connect with onward travel. The bungalows are cute and the facilities include a good restaurant.

Beautiful bungalow in the jungle. We booked probably the biggest cottage, in reality it turned out to be even more beautiful than in the pictures. Tasty food and unique atmosphere!
