I had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Lago Atitlán. The house is a true gem by the lake — simple, yet it has everything you need. There’s hot water in the bathroom, a fridge and stove in the kitchen, plus a coffee maker and, of course, coffee. The location is peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The highlight of the house is definitely the balcony with a hammock, where you can relax and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — he even helped carry my luggage to the house. Sunrise Lago Atitlán is about a 5–10 minute walk from the San Pablo dock. It’s definitely easier if you’re traveling with a backpack rather than a suitcase, as the path isn’t ideal for wheeled luggage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature!

The host was super helpful and the house keeper did his best to keep our stay comfortable.

We loved our chalet cabin surrounded by nature. Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.

Rustic Charm and Breathtaking Views 'Casita' localiza-se em Santa Cruz La Laguna, na região de Solola, e tem uma varanda e vista do jardim. The place is absolutely beautiful, and very special. We really enjoyed our time there, watching the sunset or having breakfast with the spectacular view. The home made soap/shampoo were a very nice touch. Jenny and Clemens are very gracious hosts and extremely responsive and helpful. The kitchen was comfortable to cook basic things in. This place is definitely worth the effort and was one of our favorite stays during our trip.
