Auriel was very kind and accommodated our requests. The house is really cosy and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were delighted to find fresh milk and eggs in the fridge and some yummy homemade scones we enjoyed for breakfast. The location was also perfect for us, as we could easily reach by car all the attractions we want to visit. We couldn't have asked for more 💚

The house was clean, cozy and well located for our work at the festival in Lough Key Forest Park. There's a large Centra a few minutes away and a petrol station round the corner. Elizabeth left us milk, scones, jam, bread, tea and biscuits as she suspected correctly we wouldn't have a chance to get to the shop due to our late arrival - a lovely and thoughtful gesture.The kitchen is great and entirely suitable for cooking your own meals and the house has three bathrooms Communications between us before arrival were clear and fast, and the easy to use lock box made getting the key an effortless process. A lovely house and a thoughtful hostess. What more could you ask for?

It was beautifully remote and so quiet/peaceful, just what we needed. Our dog had the best time exploring and we especially enjoyed our morning coffee with the hosts lovely dog - Winnie! The location is perfect, it has a stunning lake nearby for swimming. During our stay we visited Galway, Westport, Sligo town, Strandhill, Donegal, Leitrim all within 1.5 hours drive and it was wonderful to have a quiet place to come back to after a busy day. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and full of helpful recommendations. We hope to return!
