The host, Arif is very welcoming and very great knowledgeable about his hometown. He is very genuinely nice and always kindly assisting the guests in all enquiries which needed regarding Leh. They have everything you need. From hot water for shower, karaoke, greenery view, the place is well decorated. I truly enjoyed the stay and hospitality. Exceptional! Thank you for the stay

The cottage is owned by a formal army soldier. The amenities are what you expect in a remote cottage with no electrical lines. It's the same for every cottage in Lukung. The generators run only from 7pm to 10:30 pm and you should come to Pangong tso for the views and adventure and stay away if you are seeking comfort. Also, you will be dying for oxygen if the generators run all night or if you have heaters in your room. I'd rather stay alive than just be comfortable. In terms of the cottage and host, Thinley is one of the nicest people I have met on my trip. He made Kadha for my cousin when he had a cold and fed us chai at all times of the day. He made food 3 times a day and it was pretty decent imo. The rooms are basic with a comfortable and warm bed but the prices are more than competitive compared to other cottages and it's totally worth it. I would stay in Thinley's cottage next time I come to Pangong and decide to stay in Lukung.

The best location at Pangong lake. It's at the end of the road so it's quiet. We had an amazing view. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We had dirty clothes after our motorbike ride and the staff gave us the cloth to clean it. They made breakfast very early for us. Two meals were included in the price. The food was simple but very tasty. The bed was big and the provided blankets were perfectly warm for the weather.

The staff is just too good, they will take care of all your small needs like hot water, hot water bottles at night… I liked the attitude with which the staff works… always smiling. Rooms are spacious and clean. Washroom is also well maintained. Buffet is limited but tastes good. Ample parking for vehicle and also driver can stay. Keep up the wonderful job you guys are doing 👍
