Apresentando um terraço, Hotel Anjana Cottage - Stay 5 min Away From Golden Temple localiza-se em Amritsar, na área de Punjab, a 9 minutos a pé de Templo Dourado e a 400 m de Jallianwala Bagh. Rooms were clean and maintained. Location is a plus point. Staff and the Owner are very friendly. Owner helped me in guiding about all the near by places for shopping, exploring and about authentic food culture of Amritsar. and I also don't found any language issue at the place.

Rustic Roots Farm Stay localiza-se a 21 km de Templo Dourado e fornece acomodações com um jardim, um terraço e uma cozinha partilhada, para sua conveniência. it was the most memorable stary at Rustic roots, Not just bcoz of their food and Beautiful Clean rooms but bcoz of Love and hospitality offered by the Owners. ( Mr Vikas Gill and his Son, Bhaktavar Gill ) during our stay we felt like we were staying at our relative`s place, due to their warm nature. generally , the photos shown on any booking portal are of top notch condition , very neat and clean etc etc to entice one to book the place ( nothing wrong with it ) But we were pleasantly surprise to see the photos shown on this portal, don't do the justice to the actual place. the place is way more than beautiful, neat & clean and situated in very serene location. we really regret now that we didn't stayed more and now wanting to visit the place again. Mr. Vikas Gill shown us some very interesting historical places, nearby, which were 1000 years old and built by Persians. if anyone is visiting Amritsar, and longing for authentic home cooked Punjabi food than look no further, this place is right out of any bollywood movie, a beautiful farm house, surrounded by lush green farms. this is also very special, as one did not get to interact with any staff, we were taken care by owners themselves, and their standard for hospitality were pretty high. after staying , at hundreds of homestays & farmstays, I can say that this place comes in top 10 places.

The host Deepti was very generous, kind and accommodating. I was traveling with Seniors and handicapped people. Deepti went out of the way to ensure we had hot food of our choice ready as we reached,early check in and late check out due to our flight times. I was traveling from US and jet lagged. Care taker was more than accommodating in making me tea at 5am which is very rare. The place is beautifully done, rooms are very comfortable. I would come back in an heartbeat. And I have already started referring this property to my friends and family!!

Despite being Punjabi by heritage, my wife, two-year-old child, and I have primarily lived city lives. Yearning for a genuine experience of farm life in Punjab, we stumbled upon a hidden gem recommended by a friend. Upon contacting the place via Google, Tarsem Singh, the owner, warmly described what awaited us. Our late evening arrival did nothing to dampen the spirits of Tarsem Singh's family, who greeted us with open arms into their traditional Punjabi home. This wasn't just any house, but a centuries-old dwelling featuring a classic courtyard and an imposing tree, offering a slice of history and tradition. The hospitality we received was nothing short of remarkable. From the multi-generational welcome committee to the delicious, freshly prepared dinner under the stars, every detail was thoughtfully curated to appeal to all senses - the aroma of incense, the soothing background of Punjabi music, and the visually pleasing traditional decor. Our room was comfortable, complete with complimentary fruits and snacks, showcasing the unparalleled Punjabi hospitality. The highlight of our stay, however, was the village tour led by Tarsem Singh on his vintage tractor. It offered us a vivid picture of village life, from meeting village elders at the panchayat to exploring ancient travelers' rooms and marveling at the lush Punjab farms. A surprise awaited us in a nearby field - traditional games like Gili Danda, tree climbing, and more, creating a playful and bonding experience for my son and us with other visitors and locals. Our experience at Gharowal Village, guided by Tarsem Singh and his family, was more than just a stay; it was a deep dive into the heart of Punjabi culture and hospitality.
