Close to road #1 and to F35. Tranquil location, but close to major main routes. Owner and stuff were very welcoming. Cottage is spacious and easily accommodated our family of 5 adults. We woke up to find a flat tire in our car, and the owner resourcefully helped us to get to a near by garage. Thank you, Einar!!

We had upgraded our booking for this area, and had had lovely comms with the owner before leaving the UK, but were blown away by how good this place is when we walked in. One of our top three stays in Iceland. A lovely peaceful location, modern and very well equipped, as well as being very well priced; I'd pay more to stay here again. P.S. If you don't have any stale bread, you'll just have to buy an old loaf for the horses before your arrival.

Perfect for a quiet stay near the city and located in short distance from the old ringroad (goes over Víkurskarð, replaced by the tunnel route).
