Absolutely stunning location and the views from the apartment are unreal. Antonio is the sweetest host ever! He showed me how to use a Moka, gave me a ride to and from the station, carried my luggage, and told me all about the area. I was able to do laundry with no issue and the apartment was really comprehensively (and beautifully) furnished. I could have easily bought some groceries and stayed there for a full week or two and not missed anything. Sulmona isn't super big so I'd highly recommend visiting nearby towns. The buses aren't too hard to figure out but driving may give you some more flexibility with timing. Would recommend learning some Italian since this is a less touristic area. The breakfast is prepackaged pastries/toasts and jelly. There's coffee and tea as well. I had a pretty short stay so it was fine for me since they were pretty yummy. There were pots and pans though, so you could make something else very easily. This place very quickly felt like home!

Casa murata alta ligger ca. 11 km fra San Giovanni i Venere Kloster. Her er balkon, kedel og havudsigt. It was really easy to change the check-in time as we we're traveling from far by car. The rooms were really nice and the host was really friendly, despite of the fact that we staid only one night.
