Beautiful house with not too many rooms, very big swimming pool, a soccer field for the kids and the most beautiful surroundings. Serena and Roberto and the other staff made every effort for us to feel like at home, we spent there a week and a half, and we felt so good there that we didn't want to leave. There are many things to do and visit nearby, Montepulciano wineries, Pienza, Monticiello, Perugia, Orvieto, the Lake Trasimeno and many others. You had a typical Italian breakfast with many cakes and cookies to choose from, and you could also have dinner if you wanted, which was composed of antipasto, a first course, second course and desert, and of course you could have some of their own wine to accompany the meal.

If Ms Michele, Ms Vera, and Mia will have me, I would certainly stay here again. :)

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub, Il Borgo Sul Lago offers self-catering apartments in Monte del Lago, an 8-minute drive from Magione. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. The place was beautiful. Great for kids. Restaurant downstairs was super convenient to have after a long day. But Only open at dinner. Just had to do grocery shopping a bit away. Towns nearby to explore. Owner was fabulous!!

The location was ideal to explore the region, with many villages and towns within a 10-45 minute drive. The farm was near a small town, and only 10 minutes to a larger town on the lake, for food shopping and restaurants. Our little traditional house on the farm was perfect, and we particularly enjoyed lighting the open fire each evening. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast each day was exceptionally good and varied, with delicious home made cakes, freshly made scrambled eggs, and many other meats and cheeses. We stayed 7 days, and had dinner at the farm one night, but were disappointed that it was not offered on other nights, so we had to make sure we had food to cook or ate out at restaurants in nearby towns. Overall a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this Agriturismo.

The apartment where my family and I stayed was absolutely charming! It was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials, including a well-stocked kitchen. The surrounding area is simply breathtaking; waking up here felt truly magical. ​Check-in and check-out were handled very smoothly, and we felt incredibly welcome. This is a place I would return to without hesitation!

Great country location. Quiet hilltop hamlet. Easy access to the region around lago Trasimeno and wine area. 15 minutes to supermarkets by car. Stocked kitchen with all utensils. Great view. Washing machine on premises. Ancient tower next door. Easy parking. The lakeside towns have good restaurants and paths to enjoy 15 to 30 minutes away. We came in off season and many hilltop towns shutting down for season but the lakeside towns were still busy.
