Beautiful location the cabin was gorgeous and so clean with lovely tatami raised area to sleep. The host was so generous and cooked me a lovely meal taking into account my dietary needs, also very kind in helping me find places in the area and what was safe for hiking at the time I was there. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Sauna was also a total treat. I wanted to stay longer !

Everything was provided in the house, there’s a phone inside of the house so you could contact the owner directly if you need help. The tatami bed was very clean and smelled pleasant. The heater heated up the house very quick, so it was very warm. There’s a washing machine and laundry powder was provided, you could dry your clothes with the drying rack.

We stayed for 4 nights to go skitouring in the area since it's perfectly located in between Asahidake, Furano and Horokanai. Every afternoon we felt like coming home, can't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!!

The location was wonderful and the hosts were the best people ever! It is such a tranquil place where one can really relax and enjoy the charm of the Japanese countryside. Getting there is easy by car and it's the perfect place to explore the Abashiri area from. The breakfast and the kaiseki dinner that the host prepares are to die for!!! Everything is locally sourced and seasonal and it was really the best home cooked meal we have ever had. If you want to experience true Japanese hospitality and the nicest people ever, we highly recommend you stay here! We are looking forward to experience Anima no Sato during summer as well.
