Located 19 km from Yakusugi Land, 森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

The host, Mr. Ryosaku, went above and beyond to make our visit special—everything was thoughtfully prepared and full of heart. The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with little touches that made it feel like home. Communication was easy and professional throughout, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly warm and sincere. Yakushima is now forever in our hearts, and we hope to return one day. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

There were even frozen mugs in the freezer for beer! We had fun with the Nintendo switch at night!! The stay was exceptionally pleasant! Thank you very much for the hospitality!!
