This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.

The house had excellent facilities and is on a quiet location near the beach, cafes, train station and supermarket. It was great having the use of two bicycles also. Yumi is a great host.

IORi Yufuin ーVacation House With Private Hot Spring har udsigt til byen og ligger i Yufu, 44 km fra Oita Bank Dome og 4 minutters gang fra Kinrinko-søen. Very big, clean, and warm. It located in a very good location, very close to lake Kinrin and the shopping area. Will stay here again when visit next time.

Bettei Gensen-Private Vacation Villa Bettei Gensen ligger ca. 4 minutters gang fra Kinrinko-søen og har en have, balkon og udsigt til en have. Amazing location, so much room, the views were stunning, and the place was so clean. Truly a great experience. T Staying g in YUFUIN would not have been the same in a hotel. This made our trip extra special.

We drove by the cottage the first time and stopped about 100 meters ahead. Then we were approached by some local people, one of which was the owners mother. They were super friendly and she guided us to the correct location. There was a nice big spot to park our car directly in front of the cottage. We had diner at the table outside and enjoyed the night sky. From here you have great views of mount Aso and also the surrounding edges of the caldera. Great experience and one of our best rural stays in Japan. Thanks to the owner and his mother for their hospitality and kindness!

Denpaku The Beachfront MIJORA ligger i Amami, 16 minutters gang fra Akakina Strand og 8,1 km fra Oshima Tsumugi Museum. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en terrasse og en restaurant. The view of the ocean was truly spectacular, it felt almost like we were in the ocean, with just the sound of the waves.

森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view ligger 19 km fra Yakusugi Land og tilbyder en have og aircondition samt indkvartering med balkon og gratis wi-fi.... Stedet kan varmt anbefales, det ligger godt tæt på natur med kig til havet. Personalet er meget søde og betænksomme og vi fik uvurderlig hjælp, da vores færge blev forsinket på grund af blæsevejr - personalet taler engelsk og er nemme at kommunikere med. Hver dag, når vi kom tilbage vores ture rundt på øen, stod der smoothies og lækre desserter lavet af lokale råvarer køleskabet. Stedet ligger 20 minutters kørsel fra lufthavnen og 40 minutters kørsel fra havnen i Miyanoura. Det er tæt på indkøbsmuligheder i Onoaida og restuaranter i Anbo. Der er service til 4 personer og alt nødvendigt køkkengrej til basal madlavning. Vi havde lejet en bil, så det var ikke svært at komme til.
