We loved this traditional japanese house. I'm so glad we were able to stay here. There are different supermarkets and restaurants around. We were able to cook everyday. The beach is less than 5min from the house, same for the train station, super close to the accommodation. The experience of sleeping in the tatami was great and super comfortable. The bathroom is also a hot spring and it is super cool and relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

GOTEN TOMOE residence ligger i Fujinomiya, kun 43 km fra Kawaguchi-søen. Her er en have, en terrasse og et fælles køkken. Det var virkelig et æstetisk flot indrettet hus i japansk stil, som man efterspørger som skandinavisk gæst. Vi nød virkelig at være i huset. Desværre var vi der kun i én overnatning på vores vej fra Kyoto til Tokyo… ville have elsket at være der flere nætter

The property was beautiful and the surrounding area was even more so. The staff could not have been more helpful, giving us a ride to/from the onsen as well as the train station in the morning and gave us recommendations on the best places to go in Mochimune. Communication was great, even when we spoke very little Japanese they were extremely helpful. Would recommend this for anyone who wants to escape the busy cities for some peace by the sea.

We loved the friendly and helpful owners, the sweet cat, the adorable treehouse that came with our booking, and the surrounding area. Walking to Yumigahama Beach was just a stone's throw away and we had easy access to a couple of restaurants that were good. On another day, we explored the coastal trail all the way to the heart-shaped cave and it was beautiful. The futon bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of space for the four of us. This stay was the highlight of our trip to Japan for me!

The house was spacious and perfect for a family. Location was also good as it was very near Aeon mall where there was a big supermarket where we could buy food and supplies. The parking also perfect for the 2 cars we drove in. The rooms were also spacious with comfortable beds and pillows.
