The house is beautiful, large, and superbly equipped. The host (George) took great care of us. He arranged boat transportation from Shimoni to the island and a tour of the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park (only our family, George, the captain, and the guide, were on the boat). He organized a walking tour of the island and village, which was fascinating. He can also arrange transportation to Mombasa at a very attractive price. George arranged home-cooked meals by a woman from the village, which were delicious. There are no cars on the island, and it maintains its quiet beauty, and one can walk around the area and meet some friendly people. The island's people have managed to preserve their heritage, and you can learn about their traditions, daily life, language, and traditional coastal seafood. A unique experience away from mass tourism. I highly recommend it.

We fell in love with Jaffrane and Spice of the Coast for many reasons: The beautiful, spacious bungalows with tasteful swahili decor, the largest king size bed and the wonderful mosaic showers /bathrooms. We really enjoyed the lucious green and neat compound full of trees and plants surrounding the pool with sunbeds. So peaceful. But the best spice is the host Nimmie, who takes pride in giving her guests a memorable stay! She is the best cook and served us faboulous swahili breakfasts and dinners in the cosy restaurant. Cooked with lots of love...and laughs. So tasty! If you want an authentic, beautiful and peaceful stay, do not hesitate to stay with Nimmie at Spice of the Coast. A short walk away from the beautiful and safe beaches. We will definitely come back :-).

The compound is refreshing and the staff are excellent! The well maintained garden is welcoming and the swimming pool is wow!

Com vista da piscina, Coral Villas Cottage situa-se em Ukunda e possui um restaurante, serviço de quartos, bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. The villas are comfy, the staff are welcoming and the breakfast is delicious and fulfilling. Bonus, the owner was there on holidays and offered to pick us up at Ukunda for free. The pool was also refreshing and relaxing. Very nice ambience!

Oferecendo vista do jardim, Villa Twiga situa-se em Ukunda, a 5 minutos a pé de Praia Diani e 700 m de Leisure Lodge Golf Club. The set up was superb. Communication channels were good. Owner was kind enough to let us stay a few extra hours. Suggest the villa be kept on a prepaid kplc meter and air conditioning installed. Very decent kitchen facilities.
