They might not be super fancy, but for the price (especially compared to other places in the area), they’re genuinely such a good find. The location is peaceful, and the setting has a really nice, natural feel to it. But what made the experience even better was the friendly and helpful staff – everyone we spoke to was kind and welcoming, which added such a nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for a solid, no-fuss place that still feels well cared for and has a bit of charm, Woodnest is definitely worth it. Can u change this a little

The host Mr. Haleem was very nice and friendly. He went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.. Duluxe villa had 2 bedrooms, a spacious living area, dining area, kitchenette and 3 bathrooms. The kitchenette was fully equipped and had a refrigerator. Soaps, toothpaste, towels were provided. The property was well maintained and very clean.. Highly recommend for family or a small group. The directions given by Booking.com is wrong. You hv to go along the Blu wave cross road, past blue Wave hotel and turn left. It's better to call Mr. Haleem for directions..

Certainly one of the higher quality accommodations in Arugam Bay. Large comfortable beds. I would stay here again if I return to Arugam Bay. Amir the owner keeps the property extremely clean and was always easily contactable if I needed anything. Very friendly guy providing a great service and help whenever needed. Security camera around the parameter although the neighborhood is very safe anyway. There will be absolutely no disappointment in your stay at Coconut Villa. Beautiful place.

The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Situated in Arugam Bay, Drift offers accommodation with a balcony and kitchen. The villa, set in a building dating from 2016, is 200 metres from Arugam Bay Beach and 4.2 km from Crocodile Rock. The villa features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Location was perfect. Very nice restaurants at this end of the bay … Emily’s, Shady Lane, meori etc. come out of the property turn right brings to the beach. Turn left takes you to the street with shop for water etc and also lots of restaurants and bars. Room is large and quiet at night, the birds are the alarm in the morning. Very close to walk to surfing spot. We loved the terrace and the lovely trees and plants. Kannan was a great host. Everything was great and we didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend this property. There was no hot water but showering under cold water that turned lukewarm warm was refreshing and we didn’t miss hot water as it was so warm in May.

The garden is not fully finished (in progress) but we definitely enjoyed the outside shower. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the host. From the very first message until the day we left, he was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. His kindness, availability, and genuine care made all the difference — we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The location is ideal too: just close enough to the center of Arugam Bay to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants, but far enough to enjoy total peace and quiet. The beach is only a few minutes away — perfect for an early morning swim or surf session. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you again for making our stay so special — we will definitely be back one day! 🌴
