My stay at Corner Cottage will remain a positive memory of my time in Sri Lanka. Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

Lovely host Hansi cooks a delicious breakfast for you! You‘ll be the only guest, as only one of 3 planned houses is finished (April 24).

We stayed longer than planned because we felt so well here that we didn't want to leave... Without exageration, Mahesh is the best host we have ever met in our traveler life, he thinks about everything to make your stay perfect. The house is new and very comfortable, well located near all Sigiriya interest points and in a quiet area but not far from a city and local restaurants. But believe me, you won't need to go to a restaurant... We did one night and we immediately regreted it because the dishes prepared by Mahesh and his wife were way better! Also breakfasts were sooo generous that we didn't even need to have lunch after. We also shared some wonderful personal moments with all the family that we will never forget 🥰 My tips for your stay : - Ask Mahesh in advance if you need the swimming pool ready when you arrive - Have at least one diner there! You won't regret it 😉 - Ask his son Kevin to teach you how to play the local game Carrom, he is a very good player, good luck if you want to beat him! - Don't miss the local shower experience to the lake not far from the house. Mahesh can show you the spot 💪

يتمتع مكان إقامة "Bliss Lake, Holiday Bungalow, Thissawewa" بموقع ملائم في مركز أنورادابورا ويوفر إطلالة على البحيرة وحديقة وتراس. This is an excellent place for a family stay. It can easily accommodate 10+ people with an extra driver's room. All bedrooms have A/C. Rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and clean. Having four bathrooms means no rush in the morning if you want to attend a Pooja early. Being off the main street makes it quiet and yet easily accessible to nearby restaurants. The host was nice and attentive to messages. Highly recommend.
