Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Sigiriya Water Cottage is set in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere surronded by animals while we were actually ideally located. We saw the lion rock, Dambulla and did 2 safaris from the hotel (Horulu & Wilpattu). You can also find nice restaurants and shops just outside the resort. Hosts are very helpful to give you advice, price, find tuk tuk at any time etc...Everyone was lovely and our deluxe water cottage was very comfortable.

The best sleep during our trip in Sri Lanka! Beautiful and peaceful hotel, with new facilities and amazing swimmingpool! Breakfast was delicious. Staff is very helpful and we had really interesting chats with the owner :)

We both LOVED staying at Sigiri Enaya Cottage. Truly wonderful homestay with an exceptional host. Very comfortable bed, spacious room and beautiful gardens. We were welcomed with fresh juices. Our host, Chathuri, organised a wonderful tuk tuk driver named Nimesh who took us to Pidurangala which was incredibly beautiful. We saw the sunrise the next morning at Lion Rock and were also fortunate to have a Sri Lankan cooking class with Chathuri that evening. It was BRILLIANT! Highly recommend this place to all. It’s really WONDERFUL.

Really cosy place to stay and the staff were all lovely and really helpful. They ordered us an early morning tuk tuk to visit the rock and provided a really nice breakfast upon our return. We didn't get to make use of the pool due to the weather unfortunately but it was nice to know it was there.

The accomodation is clear, comfort and modern.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.

Super nice and helpful host, nice breakfast served to your terrace. Close to Lion Rock, we did sunrise climb and it was superb to have plunge in the pool and breakfast ready after the excursion 😊
