The property is spacious and perfect for a family of four, with common areas as well as the two bedrooms. The washing machine and drying space was also a great addition for us after a week or so of moving about! Dinner and breakfast were included and were absolutely delicious home cooked Sri Lankan dishes, which we loved. The absolute highlight though was the level of attention from Udara, who is a phenomenal host. He organised our safari in advance (which was a fabulous experience) and made everything so easy. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive, and also took us to local beaches and guided us around to make sure we saw as much of the local area as we could. Highly recommend!

The housekeeping was excellent everything was kept very clean, tidy, and comfortable throughout our stay. The view was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more special, especially for relaxing and unwinding. The peaceful surroundings and attention to cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm stay with a beautiful view near Yala. Special thanks to viraj.... Thank you.....

The property was amazing. The cleanliness and standard was top class. The staff were very attentive and did everything they could for us. Would definitely recommend

Amazing villa in the wild. The owner was super nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is clean, the room is very big with an amazing outdoor/indoor shower. The service for the food was also super nice, always on time and the choice of food was very variegated. We also did the safari with them, which is 10/10 recommended. The price is the average but we were alone in the jeep, with a private guide and a driver. They made sure we were seeing every animal, explain to us everything while we were going around. Super recommended!

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Jerome the property manager tries real hard to make your stay enjoyable. It’s a very peaceful place in a safari type environment. The pool is relaxing and enjoyable. The food was great. And since you are in the middle of nowhere it’s good to plan on having their food. It’s true it’s Sri Lankan food, so be prepared for limited options, but the quality and experience is incredible! We loved it! We felt completely safe eating and drinking what they served us. Which we didn’t always feel that way at other places we stayed at. Very thankful for that! We would totally come back again! It’s worth it for a calm getaway.

Our hosts arranged an absolutely brilliant afternoon safari at a good price at yala park. we enjoyed meeting other guests too.

Lovely place close to the nature. The host was really kind, always helpful, even though we already booked a safari through our driver. The room is spacious and clean with air conditioner, and we also had hot water. After arriving, we sit out to our terrace and just watched the wild life (birds, squirrels, snakes ...) Thanks for everything, we loved it!

My favourite part of our stay was Anusha’s incredible ability to make us feel welcome. Our stay was beyond impressive. Anusha and other family provided the most amazing food, incredible service and exceeded our expectations. Her ability to make us feel so welcome was overwhelming. No issue was an issue. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone travelling as friends or with family. The rooms were very spacious and modern yet had a traditional feel to each of them.

Everything, I loved this hotel, it's worth every penny. The staff were so friendly, and actually very supportive. They helped me pack breakfast for the safari and it's so delicious (but the breakfast we had there in the morning was on a far next level). They put heart in what they do, i.e the pleasant scent in our room, the mosquitoes sticks on the balcony, the little light/candles along the way,... so many other things I like. We made a good choice booking a safari tour with the hotel, their tour guide, China (yes his name is China) has been doing his job for 20 years so he knew the best about the safari. We were able to see the majestic leopard thanks to China 🥰

Outstanding facilities, an incredibly well maintained pool , spotless rooms and toilets . We stayed here for 2 days they have been cleaning them literally every single time we left the house. There is literally nothing else we could have ask for this place heaven in earth. But that’s just the house itself what have make this trip unforgettable , the Staff Randi our main host is an amazing man who have been taking care of us from minute one . The rest of the staff are always looking to make your trip as easy as possible from giving you welcoming drinks to have you hop in this tuk-tuk to show you his beloved city . If you are in Yala this place is a must.
