A very clean property and very well equipped for everything you need. There was a parking spot in front of the house, the area felt safe and we were only 5min car drive away from the town centre. The property was spacious, you have a large enough ground floor area to leave your suitcases, then when you go up the stairs there is a room full of books. The sitting area with the piano and a large table to have meals, kitchen well stocked and there was a mini fridge with beverages at additional cost. A spacious shower room with toiletries. And two bedrooms. The property smelled lovely. We would definitelly recommend

Joniškis Bus Station is 12 km from the holiday home and Hill of Crosses is 25 km away. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a lovely terrace and beautiful surroundings. The host was very welcoming and helpful. However, the listing said there was a private bathroom, but in reality the shower is in a separate building and the toilet in another shed, both shared with other guests. You have to walk outside to reach both facilities. The toilet is compost-style (no water flush, you cover with soil after use). For us, comfort and privacy were important, especially for our anniversary, so this arrangement didn’t really work. It’s also worth knowing that during our August visit, nearby farm work with heavy machinery meant it wasn’t always as quiet as we had hoped. Overall, it’s a charming rustic place for those who enjoy nature and don’t mind shared, basic facilities.

Everything was great, lots of activities to do both for children and adults, the sauna and bubble bath were also great (available for extra cost). The area was nice and looked after. There is a beautiful sunflower garden in the yard. Everything was available on the spot, the grill, dishes, everything a person could need for a nice stay.

We slept very well because of the fresh air and all the surrounding nature. Everything (chopped firewood, fireplace and sauna) was prepared very comfortably by the hosts.
