Welcome to Paradise, Joy Source Resort with breath taking views of the Pharping village and snow - capped Himalayas from Mt.Everest to Mt.Ganesh. Absolutely amazing stay AAA+++ Exceeded my expectations. I wanted to stay close to Kathmandu but also get out of the dusty & busy city! And it was perfect. Far enough away but not too much travel time. As soon as you arrive, you are warmly welcomed like family 💗 I wanted some R&R from travelling and peace and a place to heal - this was perfect. The service and the food and the accommodation was all OUTSTANDING! I was a little sick during my stay and they cared so well for me, amazing!! Such an interesting place with many giving projects that serve the community and beyond. My cabin had majestic views of the valley and even the Himalayas and Everest!! The sunrises were spectacular. The beds are super comfy and my cabin was very spacious and cute and private. It's really great value for money. The owners and ALL of the staff are so lovely and interesting to talk to. Highly recommend a stay here - it's worth the trip from Kathmandu.

It’s a mix of local dishes and some international stuff, all made with fresh ingredients. Eating there feels like having a meal with family, but with an awesome view. If you’re into hiking or just want to explore the area, the cottage is in a great spot. The staff can point you in the right direction for some cool walks in the national park. Overall, Shivapuri Heights Cottage is a great place if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with nice views and good vibes. It’s like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have an amazing house in the mountains.
