Location is excellent, being very close to Clyde and Alexandra where there are good restaurants. For the sporty types, it is close to the hiking/cycling trails and a visit to nearby Cromwell is worthwhile, especially the Goldfields Mining Centre where you can learn all about the 1860s gold rush. Finally, there is winery that you can visit within a kilometer!

This was my second visit to the cottage, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. Everything about the place feels cosy and warm, making it a perfect retreat. The location is spot-on – peaceful yet convenient – and the hosts are truly welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. One of the real highlights is the breakfast – a massive bonus that sets this place apart. It’s clear a lot of care and thought goes into every detail, and it shows. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Situated between Clyde & Alexandra meant plenty of options for coffee, drinks and dinner. Peaceful setting!

Beautiful location - so peaceful. The cottage is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has a separate kitchen area, living room (with very large trundler bed for two) and a beautiful bedroom. It rained when we stayed and we couldn't have been happier to have such a warm and cosy place to stay in.
