The family who runs the place are the sweetest. I was initially supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended it for 3 nights more. Everyone I met also had the same situation cause they loved the place and the family so much. I had a lovely time during New Year’s Eve with the family. This was one of the best new years I ever had. Every night sitting with the family by the fire place was one of the highlights of my stay. We also cooked together one of the nights cause they wanted to try traditional Turkish food. They are very open minded and super nice people. If you want to enjoy nature and experience Thai culture this is a place to stay. I think I will be back at a certain point.

The house was very comfortable, newly renovated, and extremely clean. Everything worked well and we appreciated the open floor plan for the kitchen and living areas. The location is excellent, close to the night bazaar, with many shops in close walking distance. It was also quiet, and protected enough for a family with young children to enjoy.

Our hosts Earnie and Dennis were the most kind, thoughtful, caring and accommodating couple. The bungalow was huge, all inclusive, quiet and over the top beautiful. Every detail. The bed was so soft and super comfortable. Made me forget about the hard flat beds that gave us backaches on our trip thus far. The Linens were crisp and luxurious. Everything about the property was beyond our expectations! The bakery featured freshly baked breads and croissants with fresh fruits and breakfast prepared with cappuccinos and lattes and tea at your beck and call. Did I mention the pool has a waterfall?? It does. We stayed an extra week because it was so perfect cozy and inviting! The walking streets on the weekend and nightly bazaar satisfied everything from local food to shopping and entertainment in Chiang Rai. Cannot WAIT TO RETURN!

It has everything you need just like living in your own house. I didn’t use it all but I did use the washing machine and it has all the racks, washing basket etc to dry everything on the veranda, Paul even supplies complimentary detergent and softener, even has board games if you’re couple or family, a far better option than a hotel. This place really does have it all. It’s so quiet at night as it’s in a residential area but also nice and close to the town with a 7-11 just up the road.

Delicious local food (most is included with your room). And the resturant itself is really authentic and amazing. They grow their own coffee and even showed us the differmet processes — we got to try different types during a little tasting session that felt almost ceremonial, surrounded by green mountains and clouds They offer transportation to and from Chiang Rai, which we definitely recommend — it was the easiest and most relaxing way to get there, with a few fun stops along the way. If you want to explore more, they can also organize day trips and show you local highlights. Just message them — they’ll sort everything out for you. We left feeling completely recharged and grateful. It was one of the best parts of our trip — peaceful, personal, and unforgettable.

Beautiful flower patels on the breakfast tray to make it look like a piece of art, the attention they were always paying to how I was doing and whether I would like to participate in a coffee tasting or jungle coffee farm visit....I had the pleasure and the privilege to experience a truly special place with extraordinary people in it. For people who love learning, unique places, delicious coffee, exploring the wild a little bit, embracing the calm and the loud moments when the jungle gets a bit louder in September, getting to know the culture in the Chiang Rai mountain region a little bit....You will love this place. The feeling which remains with me is gratitude for having witnessed this jewel as it taught me what hospitality and giving and the passion behind it really mean. Thank you so much for everything!

The beautiful scenitic view of the mountains and valleys. A very comfortable stay with all the amenities you could ever asked for. The very warm hospitality of the owner. Superb breakfast with the additional option for dinner (either the local seasonal food or shabu). Very calm and peaceful atmoshere. Recommend for coffee lovers with coffee grinder, paper filters, server kettle and dripper provided in the room. Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely go back again.

WATA KHIRI by Wang Put Tan tọa lạc ở Mae Salong, có khu vườn và sân hiên. Breakfast and Dinner were good, with an option to have them in your room if you prefer. Staff were attentive and pleasant, the location is tucked away, beautiful, peaceful and tranquil, there was nothing not to like and we would happily go back.
