At the villa complex, some units have a private entrance, dining area, fireplace and oven. A flat-screen TV with Nintendo Wii, private bathroom with bathrobes, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher are offered in certain units. In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. The property is located in an idyllic setting just on the shore of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the property is breathtaking. The moment you arrive at the Villa you realize how quiet and peaceful it is. The mattress was new and comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Wycliffe the owner and his family will make sure you feel at home, he helped me even when I was sick in the stomach, he took me to the clinic and waited there with me until I was done. The property is around 8 km from Kabale town and there is a private motorcycle taxi service on demand for 20000 shillings, both ways. There are many activities to be done including kayaking and visiting the local communities provided by Wycliffe. Also they prepare delicious meals at the Villa. One thing that I appreciated is Wycliffes effort to help the local communities. Some of the revenues of the Villa go to the poorest. Thank you so much for helping me out in time of need 💕

Magical place, silence and peace. Romantic cottages, quite clean, excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful, they prepared dinner for us and brought beer, although they had to go by boat to get it. The morning was like in a fairy tale, an ideal place for relaxation and peaceful time spent with friends :-) Wifi in the gazebo area worked great.

Such a nice place bang in the middle of Lake Bunyonyi...! The staff was great and very helpful, the food was great, and oh my, The views from our cabin and from all around the place were fantastic. We were only there for one night, but would have stayed longer. We also met some very interesting people while there!

That is the best place for resting after the gorilla trek. We spent there 4 days on trekking, swimming, canoeing and doing nothing. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy going. We really enjoyed the food they served. The place is located in an unspoilt area, distanced from the city and other lodges. Wr highly recommend Amasiko.

Beautiful, peaceful location on an island in Lake Buyonyi. The lodge has its own swimming dock and offers wifi in the reception area/restaurant. Filtered water is also available for refill. The rooms are basic, but spacious and clean and OK for the price.

Superb view from our cottage (dome), good food (you can eat whenever you want, there's always someone around), free Ugandan tea, late check-out (12.00), swimming deck with sun beds. We visited the school on the island, which was a nice experience.

Very cosy resort on a small island by the lake. Amazing views from the restaurant, and excellent location with boating providing easy access to hiking routes etc. along the vast coastline. Good efforts to preserve water etc. by limiting plastic bottle usage

An idyllic location on an island in Lake Bunyoni. The island itself makes a nice little hike, and during that hike you're sure to bump into a local man named John who lives on the island and offers a half-day boating and hiking tour to the mainland and another island for 40,000 shillings per person. Dugout canoes are available for rental, and the swimming platform is nice. The food is great and reasonably priced. I had a fantastic, beautiful, and very relaxing three days here.
