Located in Lugo, in a historic building, 9 km from Congress and Exhibiton Center, O Forno de Catuxa Cottage & Roman Wall is a recently renovated country house with a garden and shared lounge. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The country house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Location: Off-road but definitely worth to divert from a motorway. Calm, safe and nice rural location. We would like to stay more. Hotel: A carefully renovated old building. Interior designed with attention to details and to highlight remains of the old building. The price was higher than places around but it was definitely woth its price. Room: Our room was located upstairs (narrow stairs). It was narrow but long, the arrangement gave a comfortable place with sitting area (in an old school desk) and comfortable place for bags. electric sockets: many and easily accessible, including sockets near the bed; lighting: good. Stairs/elevator: there are rooms at the ground level and upstairs (no elevator, but you cannot expect this in an old farm house). Bed: large and comfortable. Bathroom: average in size, enough place for your toiletries, regular electric socket and heating. Large shower. Generally comfortable. Breakfast: Excellent. Wide selection of food for each taste, homemade cake, orange juice, good bread. We would like to taste more but would need additional stomache. WiFi: good. Staff: Nice and helpful. Parking: free, on site.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. We had a very pleasant stay, in this beautiful house and very nice welcome by our hosts (a treat of a drink and snack). Breakfast is excellent, and Isobel made us nice sandwich for our day trip. Very helpful in every way to make guests comfortabel in their house.

Located 15 km from Piornedo Village, Casa O´Crego offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. This country house features a bar. The country house provides quiet street views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Casa O'Crego is magical! Instead of going out for a day trip on one of our days there, we stayed in their garden that was designed with love. We spent the day reading and writing and enjoying the view and were filled with so much peace that it still lingers with me over 2 months later. On another day the owner took us for a day trip to the nearby town of Piornedo. Staying in Casa O'Crego feels like you've stepped back into history and are living in an ancient hamlet. The owner learned to cook from professional chefs, and it shows! The meals were delicious. The home was designed with such amazing detail that every time I turned around, I was seeing a new detail. Little Celtic symbols could be found all over. We were in Northern Spain for over a month, traveling from east to west and Casa O'Crego was my favorite spot of all! A true hidden treasure!!! The hosts were charming! We had wonderful conversations with the owner, and when we left, we gave her a shell from Corpus Christi, Texas as a parting gift. We walked away with the best memories. It was just a small token of our appreciation for the gift of Casa O'Crego!

Every detail, every corner was furnished with care and love. You could feel that Lar de Vies is not just a rural complex, but an experience on their own. Nacho, the place's owner, is just the type of host every guest would wish. Kind, helpful, respectful and always wary in case something happens. Our stay at Lar de Vies was simply outstanding. Guests at the country house can enjoy hiking and walking tours nearby, or make the most of the garden. This is a beautiful property off the main path of the Camino de Santiago. We couldn't find an albergue so grabbed a taxi to sleep here. It was wonderful. Very relaxing atmosphere and the owner was very accommodating. The room was really well decorated and super clean.

The air was fresh and clean making us feel quite 'alive' at quite a high altitude It is an incredible geological area of deep valleys, with little hamlets dotting the steep slopes. We stayed a week and could have stayed longer! The area provides such good walking, with well marked tracks. Some of the walks are quite challenging, but the flora and bird life make it all quite delightful. The cottage was well appointed and there was plenty of provision for sitting out in shade or sun and for having barbecues.

Coffe was very nice, with local food and the people take care of you a lot.

An indoor play area is also available at Casa Roan y Casa Grande, while guests can also relax in the garden. A stunning 200+ year old magnificent property. It felt like staying in a grand villa. The room was extremely quiet, beautifully furnished, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Manuel and Jessica were extremely friendly and very efficient. The dinner and breakfast were very high quality - delicious food and lots of it!
