The chalet was warm and cosy. We had a private garden with bbq, incredible views… and hiking paths literally at our doorstep. It’s great if you want your own space as a family/ group or couple. The attention to detail is tangible. It's true the drive up is a mountain road, but in my opinion it makes the experience very special, the views are breathtaking during the whole way. It's absolutely worth the drive! We will definitely come back.

The bathrooms are modern, there's a laundry room int he basement and the kitchen includes a dishwasher. The views onto the lake are spectacular. This is a house in a local community so it's quiet, and you'll meet just a few tourist cars in the area. It's completely away from the crowded tourist towns, but is only a short drive (15 mins?) to Mennagio and the main ferry port. There are small beaches with parking along the main road. Overall, a great place to use for exploring the area. Roberto, the landlord, is excellent and very helpful.
