An, honestly, unexpected gem when you drive there. The neighborhood looks a bit shabby and does not invite you for an evening walk. But…the resort exceeds its own description. The complex is designed in Mediterranean/African architecture with Gaudi-like shapes and works by local artists. The rooms have been perfectly renovated (2023), really spotless and cared for down to the last detail. The resort borders the tempestuous ocean and has a beautiful private swimming pool. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice to know that one of the managers/owners (?) is called Liesje, a typically Dutch name. Yet she is not from the Low Countries. The surroundings may be a bit less, but the resort has all the amenities. Too bad that the bar and restaurant are separate, so you have to pay separately each time. But that seems to have something to do with taxes. The small negatives outweigh the value for money. And therefore a: 10

Just 500 metres from Dover Beach, South Gap Hotel has an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi available for its guests. Located in St. Everythings: the staff, the breakfast, the room , and the place ! A very good place

With a peaceful, beachfront location, Cobblers Cove - Barbados is set in exotic gardens and offers free watersports, including windsurfing, sailing and waterskiing. Everything. Couldn’t fault anything.

Sugar Bay Barbados has a year-round outdoor pool and spa centre, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. George Washington Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. Every staff member was exceptionally kind and friendly, from the front desk to the staff working the resort. I would highly recommend this resort to family and friends

Set on Worthing Beach, Coral Mist Beach Hotel offers amazing Caribbean Sea views. It offers studios with balconies, a gym and an outdoor swimming pool. Nice beachfront location. Balcony overlooked the water. Ideal.
